HI-LO GAME RULES

 

 

Live Hi-Lo is a simple casino game. The dealer drew one face-up card to the table and you are supposed to guess whether the next card to be dealt will be higher, lower, or equal in value to the face-up card. If you guess correctly, you win the displayed payout. If you lose, your wager is lost.

An unlimited number of players can play simultaneously at one Hi LO table and each player can choose different options during the dame.

 

Live Hi-Lo game rules are the following:

 

  • Hi-Lo is played with 8 standard decks of 52 cards without Jokers. During each game round, the shuffle machine is used, which already used card shuffles with the cards in the machine.
  • The playing cards have the following values:Ace-1; 2-10 - Each of the playing cards is equivalent to its numerical value; Jack- 11; Queen-12; King-13.
  • To start the game the dealer deals out one face-up card to the table and betting time starts. After that, you are invited to bet on the next card being higher, lower, or of the same value as the base card.
  • After the betting time is over and all bets are accepted, the dealer deals out one face-up card from the shoe.
  • The results of the round are being announced when two face-up cards are on the table.
  • The base face-up card for the next round is considered to be the second card opened in the previous round.

 

Hi-Lo Terms:

 

Although the Hi-Lo is not a complex game, there are some terms used in Hi-Lo that could be unfamiliar to you.

The following list features some of the most important terms that you might want to learn before playing.

 

Bet

Any money wagered during the play of a hand. When joining a game the Player clicks on the chip value first and clicks on the desired betting area to make a bet. Bets are accepted during the betting time only.

Betting time

The limited period during which bets are placed. The progress bar on the screen shows the remaining betting time.

 

 

Hi

Kind of the main bets, according to which the second face-up card should be higher than the first one

Live Dealer

The casino employee, who is appointed at the gambling table to conduct, and control the game, communicate with players, and deal the cards.

Lo

Kind of the main bets, according to which the second face-up card should be lower than the first one

Loss

Losing the game round

Main Bet

In Hi-Lo we distinguish three main bets: High, Low, and Snap.

Odds

Those are the ratios of payoff to stakes. The odds are generated by the system. Your bet is multiplied by these odds when you win.

Shoe

The “shoe” means a physical box, from which the cards are produced

Side Bet

Players can place a Side Bet with or without placing the main bet.

Snap

Kind of the main bets, according to which the first face-up card and the second face-up card should be equal in their value

Win

Winning the main and/or side bets.

 

 

Main Bets:

 

At each round, a betting time is given to you to place a bet on one or more outcomes of the game. The Player can bet on the following results of the game: 1. Hi

  1. Lo
  2. Snap

 

Additional / Bonus Bets:

 

The Bonus bet is an optional bet available during betting time. Place your Bonus bet in the same way as you place the main bet.

In addition to the main bets, you can bet on the victory of additional markets too. 1. A-2-3-4

  1. 5-6-7-8-9
  2. 10-J-Q-K
  3. Neighbours - The neighbour numbers of the face-up card. For example, if the face-up card is 8, the Player will win if 7 or 9 opens.
  4. Red
  5. Black
  6. Hearts
  7. Tiles
  8. Clovers
  9. Pikes

If you have placed a bonus bet and win, you will get paid according to the payout table.

 

Game Outcomes and Payouts:

Payouts for live Hi-Lo bets are calculated based on the value of the previous card. The payout will then be displayed on the screen against the betting options. For instance, if the previous card is a 3, then the odds for a higher card is low and that of the lower card will be high. Besides that, the game also features additional bets, making it even more attractive to live dealer casino players.

 

General Rules:

 

Please read the following rules before starting to play the Live Hi-Lo game:

  1. All bets are made by placing gaming chips on the appropriate areas on the Hi-Lo playing table.
  2. Wagers are placed during the betting time until the Dealer announces "No more bets". Any bets received by our server after that are void (no matter win or lose) and the stake(s) are returned to your balance.
  3. You are personally responsible for the correct positioning of your wager or wagers on the Hi-Lo playing table.
  4. Minimum and maximum wagers permitted are shown on the screen of the game in the “TABLE LIMITS” window.
  5. The bet might be rejected by our server if the Internet connection is slow or if it does not meet the minimum / maximum requirements.
  6. If the game round must be cancelled because of the Dealer mistake or some technical issues, all your bets are refunded automatically.
  7. In case some cards during the game cannot be scanned correctly then there are two solutions. Either the game must be cancelled or the cards must be rescanned. If the game is cancelled, then all the players’ bets are refunded automatically.
  8. If even one hidden card becomes visible to the players, the game round must be cancelled.
  9. If the game was over with a wrong result, all your wagers will be refunded for the current hand.
  10. If any card falls on the floor during the game, the game round should be cancelled and the current card deck should be changed and verified in front of the camera.
  11. If the Dealer deals an extra card(s) not needed for the game (e.g. two cards come out of the shoe), this card should be “burnt”.
  12. If the Internet connection is lost after your bets have been accepted, the outcome of the Game Round will determine your winning bets and the total win amount will be automatically transferred to your Casino balance.
  13. You may view the game without being signed in for 10 minutes. After this time runs out, you need to sign in to play; otherwise, you cannot view the Live Casino games.
  14. If you notice any irregularities, please provide the number of the game round in your question to the Customer Support.
  15. If any technical issues arise, then all payments made and all games played are canceled.
  16. To participate in the game, your balance must be sufficient to cover your bets. The player’s balance is displayed on the game screen.

 

How to Play:

 

In order to play Live Hi-Lo you are supposed to choose Betconstruct as a provider, then newly opened Live Casino Lobby page, you must select the play table with the required language-speaking dealer by clicking the required dealer’s photo in the HI-Lo tab. The Hi-Lo games are carried out on the ‘one dealer-one table’ basis. The dealers’ staff are periodically changed. Next to every dealer on the Hi-Lo lobby page, you can see the minimal stake limits per table.

1. Click on the dealer’s box you wish to play with. The Hi- LO playing table screen opens.
